Suggest Treatment For Arthritis And Bursitis

How does arthritis effect your skin and is this a problem caused by the arthritis? For years I have had a problem with my skin mostly to do with my legs. Very very sensitive to touch, bruising and tearing very easily. Painful to even apply lotion. I have had double knee replacements and now dealing with arthritis in my hands and shoulder. Have had bursitis in both elbows. How do u determine exactly what type of arthritis you have? Reply YYYY@YYYY thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are more likely of psoriatic arthritis. We have to rule out other conditions like vasculitis also. Consult a rheumatologist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation including an MRI scan is required to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
