Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain And Swelling After Being Run Over

my ankle was ran over by a car. I was able to get up and walk afterwords with very little pain. I also drove a for a hour. The only pain i feel is a growing pain or achy like feeling throughout my ankle. I have noticed no or little swelling just discolored areas. The ache has become worse. Has it been sprang or bruised?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
thankyou for your question.
It seems that you hav got tendinous sprain or ankle bone inury , thats why inflammatory response is increasing and not subsiding. My opinion would be get a xray done first to rule out any fracture and for pain you may take tab.ibugesic as per need and ibugesic gel can be applied for sprain.
hopefully my answer is helpfull,
regards,dr.Maheshwari
