Suggest Treatment For An Allergic Reaction To Methamphetamine

I tried meth 2 days ago and I had an allergic reaction to it because my lips started swelling immediately . I went home and used my eppi pen and then I went to the emergency room 2 hours later. There they gave me an iv and a dose of benadryl . It has been 2 days since then and I be been taking benadryl to get the swelling to go away and it is not working. Is there a shot or any other medication that I can take to get the swelling to go away?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As antihistamines didn’t provide best results. You have to get steroid shot.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
