Suggest Treatment For Acne On Face And Back

Hello Sir, I have acne(white patches) in face and on my back. Recently I consulted a dermatologist and he prescribed a months course of ISOKON 20mg (Isotretinoin) along with cream onabet-b,gel supatret, brevoxyl, lotion elovera imf, lotion episoft cleansing, lip balm moist lip. On the Internet I have read about many harmful side effects (which could change my life forever) of that drug, because of which I now feel its not worth it. What should I do? Should I start taking the course. What could be its long term effects on me. Can you please suggest what to do ? My Info: Gender: Male Age: 28 Weight: 72kg

Hi Dear ,

Asper your query you have acne on face and back and your dermatologist has prescribed you medicine and you are wondering about side effects of that medicines . Well acne occur due to many reasons like hormonal changes , oily skin and excessive sun exposure . Well no doubt there are side effects of medicines that is prescribed by your doctor , but the side effects van be minimize with dose adjustment and duration adjustment ,so start taking your medicine strictly according to the prescription . If there will be any symptoms like red rashes and peeling of skin on using medicine then consult your dermatologist . You can also use cream containing azelaic acid which is safe and effective in case of acne . Use it twice a day , drink plenty of water an eat fresh vegetables and fruits .
