General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Yes there is an answer. The symptoms you have mentioned are mostly due the medications she is using. Most of the medication have a side effect of gastric irritation and bloating due to which they will have frequent burping or flatus.
If she is my patient I will suggest her to take ranitidine tablet before food twice a day it will help her to decrease the acid levels in the stomach. If the symptoms persists I wold like to suggest you to go and meet gastroenterologist regarding this who can give you more suggestions and do some necessary investigations like ultrasound abdomen and colonoscopy if needed.

Hope this answers your query.

Regards,
Dr.Alekhya.
