Suggest Treatment For Accidental Biting Of Tongue While Having Parkinson S Disease

Gm doctor. My father is suffering from parkinson for which treatment is going on. But for last three days while eating food he is biting his own tongue and now his tongue is paining. Doctor told biting tongue is not due to parkinson and gave the tablet vizilac rich. Father s age is 78. Is it right

As a physician I would like to tell you that Tongue biting by your father is not due to Parkinson's. Your physician was quite right for prescribing Tab Vizylac & I suggest you continue to use it.

I would also like to tell you that Tongue has very rich blood supply and and wound cause on tongue will heal quickly in no time. So you need not to worry.
