Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain While Coughing

My 10 year was coughing in the car and said her lower right part of her abdomen was hurting when she coughed. Then it has kept bothering her when she sits down or stands up. I pushed on her lower right side of abdomen and she said that hurt and when I let off quickly it hurt in same area. She does not feel nauseous and it doesn t hurt constantly just when moving around. Did she pull a muscle when she was coughing or is something else wrong. She usually never complains about anything.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

With pain in the lower right abdomen, you would need to consider appendicitis especially if the pain is severe and there are any other symptoms.
Appendicitis usually presents with pain in this area.

She would need to be seen by her doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
