Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

For diverticulosis I advice you to take,

-Diet: High fibre diet - Whole meal bread, pomidge or other brancontaining cereals. Plenty of fruits and vegetables.
-Avoid refined four and sugar.
-Avoid: Spices and chillies, purgatives & High enemas
- Take Ispaghula or Cremaffin 2 teaspoons at night.
- Analgesics (Inj. Pentazocine if needed)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician
