Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain After Taking Aleve
I took 2 Aleve last night for arthritis pain. Woke up at 3:30 this morning with abdominal pain left side below ribs. Felt nauseous. The nauseousness went away gradually throughout the day, but I still have the abdominal pain. While I have never had any negative reaction to Aleve before I am wondering if that is the cause of the abdominal pain and what I can do tonight to relieve that pain.

Abdominal pain may not be a side effect of aleve since it is not the first time you taking this drug.However, being a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory, it may trigger gastric pains if taken on empty stomach.I will suggest you just observe and avoid taking this drug without eating.If symtomps persist, you see the Doctor for investigation.
