Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Cramps And Bloating

I was told I need upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. I had the colonoscopy done just 6 yrs ago and it was negative. Symptoms: anemia, ( not too severe) RBC elevated, 3 stools tested for blood, only 1 positive. I get cramping in am with bloating right after I start eating any type of food for breakfast. I do not vomit any blood or no obvious blood in my stools. No diarrhea or cramping. This testing ordered is rather harsh I feel for my symptoms. What do you think?

Blood in your stool is never normal and needs to be investigated. You did not say anything about your age, a family history of colon cancer, or if you are a female who still menstruates....these things do make a difference in how you will be worked up also.
