My daughter fell off the steps and landed on her face and hit her mouth. her top lip is swollen on the right side. its causing her speech to slur alittle because it's swollen. it has some blood on it if i lift it up im just really worried. what should i do?
hello, if it is just swollen lip, just pain killers is enough. if there is blood collection ( haematoma) requires antibiotics as upper lip is a dangerous area of face( direct connection to brain vessels) . presently cold compression with tab. Brufen 200mg twice daily is enough.take care.
