Suggest Treatment For A Painful Bump On The Palm

I have a single bump at a time on the palm of my hand. I picked it and it has taken forever to heel.
it itches at first and then hurts a little when I rub it. another one appeared recently and I don't know what
it could be as ive never had this happen before

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . The probable cause of painful bump on your palm is epidermal inclusion cyst . It occur under surface of skin where one got minor cut or injury . Due to injury skin cells secrete substance like keratin which get trapped underneath and form a cyst . Sometimes it get infected .

I would suggest you to consult surgeon for proper examination and to rule out other causes like dupuytren's contracture ,ganglion cyst and hand tumor. Doctor may give intralesional injection of trimcinolone or prescribe oral antibiotics. He/she may also recommend surgical excision.

for now what you can do is start taking vitamin C supplement.
