Suggest Treatment For A Mass Inside The Nostril Of A Child

My 5 year old has a swollen nostril on her left side. I peeked inside and saw a big red mass there, she didn t have any external nose bleed, but it appears to be bled inside. It doesn t seem to bother her too much, she does try to pick it sometimes, and painful to the touch. Is there anything I can do to help her myself or do I need to take her to the doctor?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...what you are seeing could be an enlarged inferior turbinate or a polyp in the nose. I suggest you not to disturb the blood clot and consult your ENT surgeon immediately. Please do not self medicate or intervene by yourself.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
