Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a hard lump under my armpit for a year and a half now. I have been to three doctors, had 2 mamms and 2 ultrasounds. I was told it was non cancerous and might even go away on its own. The past couple of days it has doubled in size and is now painful. What should I do?
As the mammo ruled out the cancerous lump, nothing much to worry. You can opt for a fine needle biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. You can go for surgical excision if required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
