Suggest Treatment For A Large Bump On The Head

I was getting in my freezer and a heavy vase setting on top of the fridge fell off and hit me on top of my head towards the back of it, I have a large bump, no blood. I didn t get sick or feel like going to sleep, had concussion 20 yrs ago from a fall and that s what happened that time, should I get it checked out?

Hi,

Thanks for asking... I can understand your concern for swelling on forehead after hitting the vase. I deeply feel that it may be hematoma. The blood is collected under the skin of of forehead. There may be pain for sometime. Do not worry, there may be no harm. Please forget accident you had before 20 years.

Have cold compresses on the swelling. You may apply thrombophob oint to have early reduction of swelling. You may take vitamin K,pain killer and antibiotic after consulting the surgeon.
