Suggest Treatment For A Itchy Red Spot On The Skin
Hello Doc. I am taking clindamycin now ang I have red spot on my skin and it is very itchy. My questions; can I take benadryl for my alergies together with clindamycin which is for antibiotics? I have 7 capsules of clindamycin left to take. Should I continue those to take?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy red spot on the skin, well there can be many reasons for eczema like cosmetics products , pets , pollens , certain viruses and bacteria , weather , food like nuts and seafood . In your case the probable reasons is seasonal allergy and due to hormonal changes. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep yourself away from open environment. You should use air condition and continue taking anti histamine like benadryl along with antibiotics and apply cold compresses to affected area and apply moisturizer . If condition doesn't get improve or get worse then consult allergy specialist for proper examination . Doctor will take history and try to find out the trigger factor . Doctor may order allergy test . Doctor may give adrenaline short or may hospitalize .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
