Suggest Treatment For A Blood Blister On The Scrotum

I had a red spot on my scrotum, that I (stupidly) tried to pop like it was a blood blister. apparently, I had been so rough with it I now am missing a top layer of skin about a half an inch in diameter where the dark red spot WAS. the spot is gone, but now I have a painful, open sore on my scrotum. I have been boiling it with peroxide and using a triple anti biotic ointment on it for 2 days - it looks a little infected, like a 3rd degree burn - yellowish at the affected area, red around the affected area - swollen - is there ANYTHING I need to do or not do to help speed up the healing process?

Thanks for query.
You probably had an infected sebaceous cyst over scrotum which yo tried to drain yourself ,Ithas resulted into a ulcer over scrotum with slough covering the floor of the ulcer.

You need to consult qualified General Surgeon for proper de sloughing of the wound and dressing with anti microbial solution like Betadine and topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin .

You also need to take antibiotic like Augmentine and anti inflammatory medicine like Diclofenac twice daily orally .This will help to heal it faster.
