Suggest Treatment For PCOD

hi. I have PCOS and got my last ‘real’ period on the 21st of April (lasted for 7 days which is my normal cycle), which was the 2nd month of natural cycle after 3 months of birth control pills. After that, I didn’t have any period until 5th of July when it started as a very scanty dark brown spotting/clotting. Since then I have been on a light, scanty period which has changed from dark brown to more ‘normal’ looking now. However it has now been 1 month and i haven t stopped bleeding. Last year i had a full intra vaginal ultrasound and everything looked normal - no cysts or fibroids in ovaries. PCOS was diagnosed due to hormonal ratio disbalance. What should i do?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are medications that can be used to help stop the bleeding eg norethisterone.
Your doctor can prescribe this for you.

If you are not currently trying to conceive then it would be best to use a hormonal contraceptive consistently to help regularize your period.

I hope this helps
