I had a heart stint put in 3 weeks ago and I am now on a beta blocker, metoprolol 10mg. I have never been in the hospital prior to 3 weeks ago when I had to have the stint put in for a blockage.the dr. gave me a prescription of nitro. I have not had to use it. he told me about taking the beta blocker and the nitro along with Levitra. i was told not to use it. I suffer from ed and I talked about resuming sexual activity using Levitra which is what I used prior to the stent. he basically told me I had to decide if sexual activity was important enough for the risk? I am 60 years old, exercising in therapy with no issues except this distressing thought? do you have any input that would help my mental state in this? cant believe at 60 and that my wife and I are sexually dead.
