Suggest Treatment For Barrett S Esophagus

I have Barretts Esophagus. They found dysplasia cells and am having an ablation. The doctor told me it would be two different surgeries because of the length. I did not ask how far apart the surgeries would be. Do you have an answer ? Also how soon can you eat so!if good after this procedure?

Hello,

For barret esophagus treatment options are if it is low-grade dysplasia, then need frequent intervals endoscopy and biopsy follow-ups. If it is severe dysplasia need endoscopic ablation with follow up. If not responding to ablation need surgical resection. If gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is severe need Nissen fundoplication surgery. Please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly to your condition.
