Hi 35 year old , deliverd my 3rd baby by c section 5 months ago, developed high blood pressure 4thday of my secton after coming back home , nothing done to daignose it , now diagosed as hypertension, started labetalo 100mg b, d. I diagnosed hypothyroidism during pregnancy and on thyroxine, will my high bp continues rest of my life, thanks

Medical management alng with life style modification offers you promising results to control your blood pressure.take 3-4litres of water.restrict your salt intake <6gms per day.brisk walk for 20-30min daily.take fruits like apple pomogranate.vegetable salads.get your BP checked weekly once for 3weeks.if still its high then consult your doctor for change of drug or increase the dosage of present drug.thankyou
