Hi welcome to HCM.
I understand your query and concern.
Its very important to classify POTS in your case as it could of 4 varieties like Hypovolemic type,Neurogenic type, hyperadrenergic type and the deconditioned type.I advise you to take certain tests like EKG,serum electrolytes, serum osmolality, tilt table testing to get yourself classified and get treated accordingly. You most likely belong to hypovolemic type POTS in my opinion. You need to continue all your prescribed medications, but at a slightly higher doses since you are more frequently prone to very low heart rates as well as blood pressures.Intake of foods rich in high salt content is encouraged,ex hamburgers, hot dogs, and oysters.Compressive garments help to improve the heart rate and blood pressures.Discuss the same with your cardiologist pertaining the dosages of the prescribed drugs.
Post your further queries,if any.
Thank you.
