Suggest Suitable Treatment For Numbness In The Left Leg After Having An Injury

Hi, so I m a 19 year old female that weighs 140 and is 5 foot 5. I have no past history of bad health except for one knee surgery on my right knee due to a soccer injury. All of a sudden I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn t really feel my left leg. I tried to move it about but it feels like I lost circulation. I wasn t laying in a different way. What has happened? Is it because I worked too long on my feet the day before? (11 hours)

Hello,

It seems that you have had a sleep paralysis. It could be because of extreme fatigue or stress. Nothing serious is going on. I recommend avoiding caffeine intake and having some rest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
