Hello Doctor,My son is 3 months 2 weeks old. He developed white dotted rough patches all over his body since three weeks. these patches have been spreading. The patches are about 1cm to 2 cm in diameter throughout. No redness is seen. They dont seem to be itchy also. While the patches are dotted on the torso and legs, they look clear white on his face..When I showed him to a pediatrician, he mentioned that it looks like a dry skin disorder and suggested using Atonide gel once in a day along with Cetaphil cream. He also gave vitamin A drops. I dont want to subject my lil one to any harsh medication that can bring out some side effect later in future with an urge for faster recovery now. Please guide me.
