Suggest Remedy For Tiredness And Fatigue After Hysterectomy

42yrF, had full hysterectomy 3 years ago. On Atenolol for arythmia and Prozac and Vistaril for anxiety. Live in extreme heat and humid part of the south. The past week, I have been remarkably tired, fatigue, lack of energy, feel like I could sleep all day long and not feel rested. Do any of my medications mixed with the heat, cause these symptoms? What to do? I have a family, 3 children, and a full time job. I have to keep going!

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the Prozac contains Fluoxetine used as an anti depressant molecule from selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor group.

* There are various side effects of Prozac, common ones are

- dizziness
- headache
- lethargy
- altered sleep
- uneasiness

* This suggests that you are having ill effects which present on long term consumption of Prozac.

Kindly discuss the same with your treating physician for further guidelines in this regard. Till that time, reduce the dose of Prozac to half than previous one.
