Suggest Remedy For Swelling Under The Eyes

I have random swelling under my eyes. I I had thought it was from a hand soap I used to wash my face (my face is sensitive but has never swelled before) but it s been over 72 hours since I used it and the swelling as not changed. I went to see a doctor today who didn t seem to have many ideas. He said that it was probably eczema and gave me a sterile cream. I had used that and tried benadyrl and reactine but nothing seems to be working. The small rash I had is gone now but no change the swelling. I m not sure what to do next.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling under the eyes . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like fluid retention due to changes in weather due to hormone levels or eating salty foods , not getting enough sleep , allergies or dermatitis or heredity . I would suggest you to lower your salt consumption , take proper sleep , drink plenty of water and ear healthy . Also take benadryl twice a day and avoid any cosmetic product for few days . If condition doesn't get better then consult doctor for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe frusamide .
