Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Pain On Top Of Foot

I have swelling and pain on top of foot.i don t remember any trauma to it.pain was worse the first 2 days but has let up some. It appears to be 2nd metatarsal or nerve induced. I kept thinking that I should loosen my shoelaces the first day I felt the pain which was Thursday. The area is sore now and still swollen but pain has lessened although still tender and achy.

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having stress fracture of metatarsal as you said area is swollen and on 2 nd metatarsal. You can exclude other conditions by doing x ray and sonography of foot. Treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can discuss with your doctor about it.
