Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 74 years old and my left foot is always swollen. Lately, I have been getting what feels like electrical shocks running up my foot. It is very painful sometimes. My Doctor told me I have Arthritis in this foot and perhaps the circulation is not good either. I am getting very concerned that my Doctor isn't sending me for test or to a specialist. I am very scared of what is happening with my foot. My right foot is fine, not swollen and no pain. Can you help me with an answer?
dear sir your left foot does need investigations to start with a xray to rule out bony issues are you also having any other associated illnesses i would like to know that as well issues like diabetes and wide spread atherosclerosis can contribute to such a condition. it would be great if you could share some more information to enable us to guide you properly hope to hear from you in detail
