Suggest Remedy For Sticky Bacterial Nasal Discharge

The nostrils have a sticky bacterial discharge just inside the external entry. Very tender, raw and red tipped. The condition has lasted more than one month and won t seem to clear. The intensity fluctuates daily. I apply antiseptic Savlon cream regularly without change.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
The condition that you are suffering is called collumellitis.
I would advise you the following:
You have to take a long course of an antibiotic since you are suffering from one month, hence the underlying cartilage too gets infected.
Long-term Doxycyclin still works the best.
Do not apply anything locally as there are no medicines that can really work like this in this condition.
Get your blood sugar checked.
