I have been sick since Sunday with a chest cold. I also had a really bad sore throat for the day. I am taking Mucinex. Part of the day my cough is productive with thick yellow mucous and the rest of the day it is dry. I can t sleep at night because of my cough. My chest feels tight and it hurts to breathe. I m wondering if I should call my doctor. They don t like it if you call when you just have a cold.
