Suggest Remedy For Sore Spot On Thighs After Spider Bite
Well on my upper left thigh, I had a spot that resembled a spider bite with a white head but and a very sore reddened skin around it that aced to the touch, the head now fell away and it wa sblack-like navy colour where the head was and has now scabbed over but is still dark. Should I be worried as I have a similar blackish scab on lower on my leg now too?
Spider bite usually heals on its own in about a week. Sometimes the skin at the center of the spider bite turns dark blue or purple and then forms an open sore that gets bigger as the skin around it dies. The sore usually stops growing within 10 days after the spider bite, but full healing can take month. Apply antibiotic cream and antihistamine cream to the affected area several times a day after cleaning the area with soap and water to help relieve itching, pain and inflammation. You can also take painkillers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain and an antihistamine for swelling. As you were bitten on your thigh, so raise it up. If this suffering persist for long, then you should consult your doctor for medical help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
