Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Arm After A Fall

I crashed my bicycle while on vacation, on Monday. I m not home yet, and really don t want to go to er out of state. I can t lift my left arm forward. I can lift it behind me but not forward or twisting without pain in deltoid area. I ve been soaking in a hot tub which made it feel better at first.... I think it s slowly getting better but not sure?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having muscular and soft tissue injury your shoulder. Its treatment is rest and icing. For pain relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen. Muscle relaxant such as thiocolchicoside can be added . Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovering. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health. Take care.
