General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I suggest a plain X-ray of the site to confirm complete extraction. White film needs cleaning by warm saline gargles after each serving of food / three times a day. Do not foment from outside .Do not apply vicks or pain balm externally. In case of infection, I would suggest addition of Metrogyl and pain relieving anti-inflammatory drug would help. Please discuss with your dental surgeon for dosage and any other addition to treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
