Suggest Remedy For Severe Nausea Post Intake Of Clindamycin
I an on my third series of clindamycin for a dental abcess. Inhave such severe nausea I cant sleep. I have lost weight. I have been waiting to see an endontist. However the nausea ( which really only became out if control tonight) is so severe I am desperate. Anything to do ? I coukd simply have the tooth extracted. The oral surgeon suggests i try ti save the tooth. I cant see the endodontist for almost a month. I cant tolerate the side effect for that long.
As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from the side effects of Clindamycin and in case if you unable to see an endodontist for a month, then taking antibiotic for so long is otherwise also not appropriate..
You should consult any other Endodontist or even an experienced general dentist can also do a Root canal treatment that can save your tooth..
As of now you should stop taking Clindamycin and can rather take painkiller like Ibuprofen if there is pain. You can take Ondensarton to relieve nausea.. Take a light meal and drink plenty of water.. Take sufficient rest..
Hope this helps..
Thanks and regards.
