Suggest Remedy For Ringing In The Ears

I had a knee injury and subsequent lower leg blood clot 6 1/2 months ago. Was on various strengths of Warfarin for six months and experienced ringing in both ears from the start. Stopped Warfarin about two weeks ago and the ringing continues. It is quite bad and about drives me crazy at times. I am female, 57, 5 8 and 130 pounds. I lost 20 pounds through the ordeal and have only gained back half of that. Am I destined to live with this ringing in my ears?
