Suggest Remedy For Redness, Watering And Pain In Eye

My husband has redness, watering and mild pain in one eye...symptoms started earlier today, cleared up somewhat and has worsened. He has laid down for about an hour with his eyes closed. We have used Systane eye drops and a cold compress. what else should we try?

Hi.
welcome to HCM.
It indicates an impending conjunctivitis or a foreign body.
keep using systane eye drops..
If there is excessive discharge and stickiness of lids you can take antibiotic such as moxifloxacin.
If it is an impacted foreign body it needs to be removed..
Do consult the doctor if required. .
