Brief answer: GINGIVITIS/PERIODONTITIS.

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

A per your complain it seems that you have infection in your gums leading to pain, swelling and redness and the condition is called GINGIVITIS
Gums may get infected by bacteria causing the following symptoms and it can either be involving the entire gums or can be more symptomatic in any one region of the gums and lesser in other..

The infection causes inflammation leading to the symptoms which you are experiencing.

This infection should be taken care of and get treated as it can lead to spread deeper involving the deeper structures like jaw bone causing loosening of teeth and that condition is called PERIODONTITIS.

I would suggest you to see your dentist and get evaluated for the exact cause of the gum problem.

In case of gingivitis scaling which is thorough cleaning of teeth using a small machine called scaler can help in cleaning deposits and bacteria on teeth along with antibiotics, painkillers, gum paint and antimicrobial mouthwash can relieve your symptoms.

Use an ultra soft toothbrush..

Drink plenty of water to maintain good hydration..

Maintain good oral hygiene.

Hope your query is solved..

Thanks and regards..
