Suggest Remedy For Recurring UTI

i just wonder my uti keeps on recurring. my doctor prescribed antibiotics named doxycycline for seven days twice a day. after treatment i had my urinalysis again and my wbc is still 10-15 hpf. how come. i never had sexual intercourse during that perid of treatment.

Hello,

* The recurring UTI evaluation requires certain further details as

- If there is declining levels of WBC as per the previous report, means that infection is recovering but still present.
- If there is no improvement in cell count of urine that indicates resistance to the medicines used for current episode.
* In either of the case, a urine culture report would be of immense help to guide for the best therapy possible.

Till that time, maintain hydration with plenty of liquids add urinary alkaliser as potassium citrate and anti-inflammatory medicines in drug basket consume more citrus containing fruits; avoid sex if active.
