Suggest Remedy For Rashes On Genital Area In Infants

hi im lene and my baby has rashes before over his genital area. so the problem now is its really redden and im worried because its getting bigger i think its already a skin problem what should i do?. by the way my son also has a g6pd deficiency and we are in the phillipines. thank you

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What you have described about your baby is that he is having 'napi rash' due to allergic skin reaction.
You need to use moisturizing cream with zinc oxide composition thrice daily for the rashes to subside. Do not use steroid based cream.
Also, it would be better to change the manufacturer of diaper or use soft cloth materials to cover his genital area.
