Suggest Remedy For Rash And Blisters Around The Penis And Scrotum

Hi, my name is jack. I am a paraplegic since 1997. I have developed a flacky and foul smelling rash w/soreness and blistering around and on my penis and Scrotem. I haven t had sex of ANY kind since 1997, so SDI isn t likely. I do have chronic UTI s being I have a supre pubic tube. My urologist gave me trimicien, a triple topical antibiotic...doesn t seem to have any effect on flakey areas. The more I scrub, the worst it seems to get, scrubbing sometimes till I draw blood, unintentionally, any suggestions Doc?

Hi,

It may be secondary bacterial infection in genital area. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis. It may be due to poor immunity and poor hygiene. Take steps to improve both. Cleans the area with antiseptic like dettol. Apply neosporin powder daily after cleansing the area. Take heavy antibiotic orally under doctor supervision along with antiinflammatory drugs. This may improve.
