Suggest Remedy For Prolonged Earaches, Nodules On Vocal Cords And Mild Loss Of Hearing

For about 2 months now I have been having really bad ear aches back and forth. I feel like I have liquid in my ears. I have been to er 2x, walk in once and family doc. I have been to dentist and chiro. Seen the specialist and he says it s not my ears, nose or throat. I have nodules on my vocal chords and have loss some hearing in my only good ear. I went deaf with the mumps when I was 4. I am now waiting for a MRI but in the meantime I don t go outdoors as it gives me pain. I hardly drive because I am scared. It goes back and forth between the ears...I have had the antibiotics, the nasal spray and ear drops. While I wait for the MRI I am going crazy. I have canceled flights due to pressure. So what do I do now?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think this can be related to ear and throat infection. Do a culture of the fluid from ear because you probably are having a resistant infection and needs to find the right antibiotic which can fight it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
