Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have excesive sweating over most of my body . It is horrid. I know when I am fixing to get wet. I start feeling like I am dizzy and sick. I become slightly short of breath and feel week. I keep a fan going on my face/head at night along with a ceiling fan. My skin sticks to it s self anywhere there is a fold. It hurts to separate it. They say I have fibromyalgia. I think this is their way of getting off the hot spot. I am 60 and this has been going on for 20 yrs To say the least I am so tired of it
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to hyperhidrosis. Some examinations should be done to exclude other possible medical conditions. If the diagnosis is confirmed, the treatment consists in: -Prescription antiperspirant with aluminum chloride (Drysol, Xerac Ac). -Prescription creams. -Nerve-blocking medications.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
