Suggest Remedy For Persistent Headache

I have had been getting head aches and migraines frequently almost every other day. I get them mostly when I am sleeping and the wake me up. Today I woke up to a very bad one the whole right side of my head hurt all the way down to my neck. I cant put any pressure on that side and my right side temple is very sensitive. NSAID s are not working and my vision is blurry and sensitive to light. I have not had any accidents lately and I do wear reading glasses how ever i find that I can no longer wear them because they cause discomfort to my temple. Should I seek the emergency room or doctor? If so what type of doctor should I seek? My primary care specialty is cardiology.
