Suggest Remedy For Pain, soreness And Redness In Back After Using Veet Hair Removal Cream

Hello, I put some veet hair removal cream on my husbands back this morning. I applied it twice as the first time it didn t really work. The second time it really burnt him so I washed it off straight away. Within seconds his back started to blister and some of them bleed. I have put some lotion on and then used sudacream, but he is still in a lot of pain and his back is really tight. Could u please give us some advice as what to do/use next as his back is red roar. Many thanks.

Hello
Thanks for the query.
You have developed allergic contact dermatitis to veet.
I treat such cases with a mild topical steroid cream like fluticasone to be applied twice daily for a week.
It is safe and effective.
An antihistamine tablet daily in night can relieve itch.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
