Suggest Remedy For Painful Stool Movements Post Hystescopy

I had a hystescopy on Friday. They removed a few foreign things from my uterus . They placed a ballon in there to help the healing process. I am having a hard time pooping. It hurts badly. Should I take a prescribed laxative? I have cramps everywhere. What should I do? Help .

Hello,

You may take a stool softener or bulk-forming agents to evacuate. Take high fibre diet or benefiber or Metamucil fiber for passing the stools. If not passed stools you may consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
