Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello,My mother banged her Knee on the ground and she is having some pain in walking and she is limping. There is no swelling and no pain when sitting or sleeping. She took Panadine Forte and vomited twice after eating anything. We have stopped giving it.Can anyone please suggest something. Do I need to go to doctor or can take something at home. thanks
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think your mother is suffering from osteoarthritis of knee . What is her age? Quadriceps exercises, Cartisafe D once daily and analgesics (DICLOFENAC 100 MG SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) whenever pain is treatment. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can aggravate this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. Panadine forte can cause vomiting so take diclofenac in its place. You can discuss with your doctor. I think your query answered. Welcome to any follow up query.
