Suggest Remedy For Painful Hard Lump Under The Knee Cap Post Injury

I landed on my left knee whilst playing sport (impact with the turf) over 2 weeks ago. The pain started immediately afterwards. The next day I felt underneath my knee and there is a hard lump which is painful to touch. Exercise is difficult and when squatting it feels like there is a huge amount of pressure on the area. I am a 29 year old active slightly heavy build male

Hello.as you said that you got hurt 2 weeks back and it started paining since then and had developed a hard lump so i advice you to have a knee xray as soon as possible to rule out whether any major injury.foment it with cold water or ice cubes.for pain you may have acelofinac and uparacetamol combination twice daily for 3 days under your physician's advice.you may apply diclofinac ointment to your knee.keep your knee movements happening.hope this will help you.thanks
