Hello,

As you had an accident, the following are few possible causes of snoring:
1) Trauma to airways
2) Edema or swelling of upper airways
3) Asthma
4) Bronchitis
5) Sleep deprivation
6) Deviated nasal septum
7) Chronic nasal congestion due to allergic rhinitis
8) Chronic sinusitis

If your snore is problematic like if it's causing the following:
1) Witnessed breathing pauses during sleep
2) Excessive daytime sleepiness
3) Difficulty concentrating
4) Morning headaches
5) Sore throat upon awakening
6) Restless sleep
7) Gasping or choking at night
8) High blood pressure
9) Chest pain at night
10) Your snoring is so loud it's disrupting your partner's sleep
Then you need to consult an ENT specialist or a sleep therapist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
