Suggest Remedy For Pain In Gums After Accidental Injury

Jammed my toothbrush into gums while brushing teeth. Extremely sore and hard to eat, open mouth big, and very sensitive to touch, even my makeup brush hurts. Little cut I think or an area of whiteness... Stings when I swish water but I've tried swishing salt water and that doesn't sting. Just wondering if I should see a doctor or dentist or let it he's naturally and if there is anything I could do to take from the sting of it.

Hi.Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

Pain in gums after toothbrush trauma is a common finding. You should use a soft brush & reduce the amount of force applied during brushing.

In meanwhile you could use Dologel ointment over the injured area 2-3 times a day.It will relieve the pain & infection. You should also take multivitamin capsule like Becosules, it will help the injury to heal faster.

You should visit a dentist if problem persist
Don't worry you would be fine
Hope this information helps.
