Suggest Remedy For Pain In Elbow

I have golfers elbow symptoms caused from playing tennis. I also do over 1000 pushups every other day which may be putting stress on the elbow. I prefer not getting a cortisone injection because they are typically short lived relief. If I RICE but continue when possible playing tennis, will it clear up with time? Could the pushups be creating the issue?

Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Excess of everything is bad. Someone said very right that if you want to come out of a dig, stop digging. 1000 pushups are too much, along with tennis. Stop Pushups right away and keep playing tennis. Do it until you get a little better.

It is due to wear and tear injury to the tendons and joint cartilages. It will increase with time if you will not change the way you workout. If you have to burn calories, go start jogging rather. Cycling is also good one. If you want to make biceps triceps, consult an instructor in the gym. He will guide you through the process and there are a lot more exercises to that without actually damaging the body.

Take Ibuprofen for pain and apply Bengay ultra stretch gel on affected area.

If you feel that nothing is working good for you, consult a Physical Therapist. He is trained to relieve such pains.

Hope I answered all of your health concerns . If you have further questions in future, feel free to contact me anytime. In the start of your question write my name, and I will get back to you in no time. If satisfied, please click you found it helpful.
